iOS 14 Update and copy/paste doesn’t work

The problem with copy paste appears here and there randomly or by purpose?! For example I’ve copied link on YouTube and wanted to paste in comment on Facebook and ZILCH not a chance , completely dead . Same link I’ve pasted in an email or anywhere else but NOT ON Facebook and that’s where problem is . You guys at Apple need to sort this out with Facebook and YouTube and likes ( your headquarters are almost next to each other so you can fix this over morning coffee) . Also there are other places where you can’t paste copied matter ( links , texts etc) and also it’s an issue with Apple and that particular site / platform it seems that YouTube and likes are not allowing copied material to be pasted where’s not agreement in place . I’m absolutely sure you’re aware of this problem !

I have a new iPad . Now I can’t copy and paste . Especially on fb . I had a new iPhone last year , I have the same problem with that too. Suggestions please. As I’ve tried all suggested . But still not working , thank you . Date 17/06/21

Actually that doesn’t really work because it’s very hard to even get a blue line. I can only select a whole word so that would be a blue rectangle but not a line. When I tap on the selected word nothing happens if I tap on that after. So to “select all” is really impossible. Are you paying attention Apple…??

I have already updated my phone to iOS 14.1 and my copy/paste feature still does not work. I have tried it on Messaging and on the Facebook app and also my next door app it no longer copy’s and pastes no matter what I do.

Same apple reply to everyone. Restart phone, reset phone so many times. Replaced phone twice.

guess apple can not figure out how to fix this. Sorry I bought another Iphone.

Come on apple guys . Why haven’t you fixed this ? It’s been on going for months . I thought you were the best in the business . Come on prove it . Fix this bug . It’s not just iPhone it’s my new iPad too.

I have iOS 14.7.1 on my iPad and can no longer copy from mail. I can do a long press and select all, but the dialog box with cut/copy/other choices doesn’t ever load. Occasionally, the dialog flickers on and off, but way too fast for any human to execute ny kind of action. I use this feature every day! It is pretty critical to my existence. Please fix it!

There are more important things to do in the halls of the sacred Apple donut. Have you seen the new typography? So fresh, so thrilling, so throwback to 1995 Mac Os, so post-modern! That’s what’s important, not allowing users to move data around. You’ll just have to wait.

My problem was with WhatsApp. I could not get it to respond to a tap on the text, or sustained touch, to bring up a menu for copy/paste/forward etc. Miraculously, having contacted this discussions group, everything is now working! How did that happen? An algorithm read my problem and fixed it for me ? God intervened? My iphone stopped being a complete ***? WhatsApp updated it self without my asking? Apple fixed a glitch in its latest IOS? Who is running this virtual world?

Same here I copy from my email application a phone number and it will not paste into the phone app. Frustrating Apple PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP.
