Huge battery drain WatchOS 7 - Series 5 Apple Watch

After upgrading my Apple Watch Series 5 to WatchOS 7 I have huge a huge battery drain. Normally I get easily through one day (+night). Yesterday I started the day with 95% battery. At 3 pm it was down to 50%. I went on a bicycle ride (using the apple watch to track my sport, which I do 5 time a week) and two hours into the ride at 5 pm the watch shut down, because the battery was empty.

Today I turned off the sleeping feature and the handwashing feating and hope this will help.

With such a short battery life, the watch is literally useless for me

***Unpairing and re-pairing seemed to do it for Series 6***

Prior to unpair/pair - I reduced notifications, turned off hand washing, made sure 'sleep' was off, etc. I already had 'tight' restrictions on push, notifications, etc and could always get > 24h if needed, and would not make it 14 hours after the watchOS update. Heavy Strava and GPS use, BTW.

And, seriously. I skip ever post that starts with "Same thing". If you want to detail how your trial is the same or better - post to your personal blog. I'm here for answers and diagnostics, not therapy. Not judging, just remember to support improvement, not complain.
