iCloud Sync Problem

Hello. I chose the 32GB iPad 7th Gen to buy. I connected my device to my iCloud account and it suddenly synced the photos from my devices. So I had to disable iCloud Photos feature on my iPad. Now I want to turn it on again and upload my new photos to iCloud but I do not want my old photos to come back. I could not find any specific information about this problem. I would be very pleased if you could help me. Thank you.

iPad, iPadOS 14

Turning on iCloud, syncs all of your data. When it comes to your photos, you cannot choose which to sync and which not to sync.
