Trying to update PAGES and GARAGE BAND

I have just bought a new MacBook Pro and I am updating my APPS. Two of them PAGES and GARAGE BAND won't update. I get a message saying that and it won't update "because it was purchased or refunded with a different Apple ID." Now what? It has been many years since I had a different ID and would like to get those two apps. Any help out there will be much appreciated.

New Macbook - standard apps won't update b/c refunded or purchased with diff apple ID. I have a brand new Macbook Pro. I have had it about 3 weeks and I set it up with my one and only apple ID and I've never signed in with a different Apple ID; however, I have 4 apps that need to update (all basic apps that came on the macbook- garage band, keynote, etc.) and I'm getting the "cannot be updated because it was refunded or purchased with a different Apple ID." message.

You can solve this by deleting them, and reinstall them with your current apple ID.
