Hey apple! I was wondering why is my iphone xr front camera portrait mode is not working? It only shows move farther away, and the camera light is dark? But my face id is still working. I believe that this is just a software issue since I’m always updated to the latest ios version. I tried resetting my phone hard reset but it doesn’t do anything. I hope u can help me with this issue!

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to take a Portrait mode picture with the front facing camera on your iPhone XR, even after trying some good steps. To help isolate this, use your Mac or PC to backup and restore your iOS software to factory settings, as this process erases the information and settings on your device and installs a fresh copy of the latest iOS software. Temporarily set up your phone as new to test your issues, and then restore your back up and test the issues again.
