My new Smart Keyboard was bought in France and is AZERTY, however, it doesn’t switch to English when I change the language to English. In the settings I even re,over French fro, the Hardware Keyboard language options, however, when I select English it switches to AZERTY, not QWERTY. I don’t have the same problem with Russian, it does switch well with the Smart Keyboard. Any ideas?

Go to settings > general > keyboard > hardware keyboard and tap over at the right edge. For English, make sure you have "US" checked (and NOT "automatic" or "French")
