Apple Music Crash - Segmentation fault: 11

I initially asked this over in the MacBook area, but realized that was probably the incorrect spot. guy apologies for the double post in two areas.

Apple Music 1.0.6.10 has just started crashing continuously for me on the system below. Just started today. I am NOT sure if a recent update was done before the crashing started, but I did update Catalina to the current version after, just in case.

It will start playing normally, and then at some point simply quit with a "segmentation fault 11" error. Won't play long enough to get through a single song ...

I've run disk utilities - no issues there. Memory checks fine too. Multiple reboots, multiple checking all software is current ...

My wife uses this computer for her dance classes and choreography - pretty important I find a fix ASAP for this as this is her living.

UPDATE:

A small security update was auto-installed a few night ago. Situation greatly improved, but not completely.

A few observations - music that we've added to Apple Music without purchasing through the store seems to play OK. These are files that have been edited for performances, or original music written for our company. The songs that seem to have trouble are all Apple purchased.

However, previously is was ALL music. Now it seems more random. It will play a few songs with no issues, then suddenly decide to crash with the segmantation fault 11 again.

I scheduled a call with Apple support last week to see what could be done, but then they didn't call at th appointed time. Awaiting a new appointment and will try again. If anything is found out, I'll report back here ...

UPDATE: Installed the Catalina 10.15.7 update this evening with high hopes that it would have a fix for the problem.

Nope. Opening music, one song played for maybe 2 minutes, instant crash again.

The lack of any replies here with potential solutions, and the fact that I'm getting deperate because she NEEDS HER MUSIC every single day for her job ... I guess I next take the sledge hammer approach, back up everything, wipe the computer clean, and downgrade back to Mojave if I can figure how to do that exactly ...

This approach won't work ... I just tried moving the entire library over to another Mac running Sierra.

The library file won't import because it was created in a newer version ...

At this point, without a fix from Apple ... HELLO??????? ... I've no idea how to maintain all her playlist and keep everything properly organized.

I seriously need help here please!!!!!!

One more observation - there are multiple copies of playlist at this point. I can't tell exactly when this happened, but may of them are duplicated ...

...

I turned sync off, restarted Music, restarted sync ... and SOME of them had gone away, but not all of them...

I'm sure this is related somehow, but clueless ....

Perhaps it might give somebody smarter than I a clue ...
