ios14 email not refreshing properly
Hi - I am using the apple email app to connect to my virgin email account. Since ios14 the app does not refresh the email list in two ways. Firstly, when it says I have new mail, it does not show them in the inbox. When I close the app and re-open it or if I click the 'unread' icon I get to see them.
Secondly, when I view the messages the blue dot clears in-message to show I have read them.
When I return to the main inbox the messages now appear but have a blue 'unread' dot against them.
On top of this, the service also seems very slow, both to refresh the list and to display message content.
None of these issues pre-date the ios update.
Can anyone help (just replying don't use Virgin will not help). Thanks
