iPad Pro 12.9 (2nd generation) screen stuttering

My iPad is suffering of increasing stuttering problems. Sometimes the screen just freezes and does not seem to feel my commands.

Most times, if I press the home button then it starts working again, but it is not always the case. Additionally, at times it is difficult to type as it does not pick up all the letters.

Anybody can help on this?
