My screensavers will not load after installing the latest security update on 9-25-20.

After installing the latest security update on 9-25-20, my screensavers will not load. I'm running Mojave on a late-2013 27" iMac. When selecting the screensaver(s) in the System Preferences pane, the pane screen goes blank. I've restarted three times in safe mode and also reset the PRAM. Still no results.

gray Home Screen/wallpaper on iMac that will not change hello. I downloaded the new macOS last night. Everything was fine and dandy and the new screensavers/wallpaper were working great. this morning when I woke up the Mac it went to a gray wallpaper and it will not change. The screensaver works just fine but when I go back to the Home Screen it instantly goes back to the gray background. Ive reset it a few times already today. When I go into settings it shows that the wallpaper(Grand Canyon at dusk) is selected. when you tell it to go to the Lock Screen the screen saver instantly comes on and does it thing. this is driving me nuts. ive tried to change wallpapers and nothing will get the gray background off.

ScreenSaver does not come on Just finished installing macOS Monterey12.0.1 The screan saver function is set to activate in 20 minutes of inactivity. It is not working. The page shows "blank". When I look for the screan saver in Preferences [Desktop & ScreenSaver] and click on the folder I have photos that I use for my screen saver, the "preview" shows nothing .... a blank page. On my Photo Library there WAS a folder called Screen Saver which had the photos I had chosen to be part of the screen saver preferences. This "folder" is gone! (it seems) after I loaded Monterey 12.0.1 I had it set up so that by placing the mouse on the bottom left corner of the screen, the screen saver would come on. All I am getting is a "blank" page I have followed the sequence of installing a "new" folder but nothing happens. Can I get help? Thanks

That’s a good idea—hadn’t considered that. I did try to reinstall the screensaver, to no avail. I’ll try them in the morning. Thanks!

I thought I was going mad, all of my third party screen savers now not working after the recent security update. I've had to uninstall them all. Hopefully a fix will loom from Apple.
