Ever since updating to iOS 14 and iOS 14.0.1, I’ve had sound issues with the iPhone 11 Pro. Sound volume is extremely low for calls on speakerphone, watching YouTube videos, and listening to music.
Has anyone else experienced these issues?

Since updating to 14.0.1 my volume on phone calls is very low even with volume set to the highest it will go. No problem on speaker or connected to car kit. I would say the volume is half of what it used to be. Tried a reboot, no joy. Tried noise cancellation on and off, no joy.
I really struggle to hear the other person on the call without putting the speaker on 🙄
This fixed my problems with weird sound setting behavior. iphone volume, Car Bluetooth, HomePod Mini speaker etc...
Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety. Turn OFF Reduce Loud Sound.
None of those things fixed the problem. "Turn OFF Reduce Loud Sounds" does not fix the problem. "Turn OFF Noise Cancellation" does not fix the problem.
This problem has been going on for some time now and Apple has not fixed it.
not low volume, but the general volume setting completely messed up since iOS14. Connecting and disconnecting from audio devices is now completely messed up.
I've submitted this as a bug, but Apple just never responds.
iPhone 12pro I use ITunes and Bluetooth to my motorcycle speakers. IOS 14.2 I have the volume maxed out and cannot hear my music above 35 MPH. Last year my IPhone X iOS11 was waaay louder. Guess I have to get an Android to hear my music when riding as it seems that Apple has done this on purpose. Ready to throw this phone in the trash can!
Hello bro, I’ve been facing this same exact issues..Like the speaker and call volume is extremely low..its been just one year..i have a iphone 11..Can you please suggest what can we do to sort out this problem.
My headphones volume has dropped significantly. So much that some songs are too quiet even at maximum volume. I noticed it soon after the last IOS UPDATE. I wish Apple would take some responsibility and correct what I suspect is there doing
APPLE DOES NOT AND WILL NOT RESPOND BECAUSE THIS PROBLEM HAS GONE ON FOR A LONG TIME AND IT’S THEIR TACTIC TO GET YOU TO BUY A NEW PHONE SO I’M DOING JUST THAT. I’m buying a Samsung Galaxy and i won’t buy unsupported apple products again. They don’t care now but they would if everyone did that
Go to setting -sound- and make sure Reduce loud sound is on off
I checked that already. It’s off. I’ve checked all sound settings. I think it’s just noticeably quieter than previous versions

Ever since I upgraded to iOS14, I started seeing the same problem, the call volume is very low. I can only use speaker or headphone option.

I am facing same volume problem with my iPhone XS Max as on call speaker voice is very low hard to hear . Most of the time need to open speaker
