Ever since updating to iOS 14 and iOS 14.0.1, I’ve had sound issues with the iPhone 11 Pro. Sound volume is extremely low for calls on speakerphone, watching YouTube videos, and listening to music.
Has anyone else experienced these issues?
iPhone 6, iOS 12
The Apple rep first had me plug my phone into a pc then update my iTunes software then press the volume up button release then press the volume down button release. Then press the power button and hold it down until the phone rebooted to the Apple.
then I went on iTunes it should have a message pop up that says downloading I’m not sure what but it took about 25-30 minutes it looks like it’s just sitting there but if it says downloading your good. Once completed it asked you to pick a date to restore to I went back to before the update. Once it finished I setup my phone up like new but all my info came back and the sound is working weird thing is the software is the update. Good luck
My mother and I are having the same issue.
I updated to 14.1.0 and so far (not calling it yet in fear of breaking the spell!) the volume issue appears resolved? Fingers crossed 🤞
Yes, I thought it helped too until a test came in while responding to a test! Blaring screech from the volume. 👎🏼
go to settings>sounds>Headphone safety> turn of reduce loud sounds.
Check the above reduce loud sounds. If you are facing low volume over earphones.
That's awesome! But when you have a phone that's only a few months old, you shouldn't have to clean anything if you don't talk on it. I'm a texter.
Finally took cotton wisp .. applied handrub over it.. Cleaned speakers..

Settings—> Accessibility—> Sound Recognition!!
Turn it off, it seems that this uses mic continuously and that is why iPhone does not recognise audio output device correctly!
my volume randomly fluctuates
when I want to turn it up it goes down by itself

Since updating to 14.0, 14.1 (iPhone XR). I too have had issues with the volume. is there a fix in the works?
I have also speak with customer care but no result, Sound issue still unresolved.
even after writing our problem thrice here no body care , pathatic approach by Apple.
