I have the same issue as well after downloading iOS 14 and now iOS 14.0.1. My AMEX card history is blank and I no longer get notifications on my purchases, which was such a useful thing. It helped me monitor any card fraud.

Apple please fix this soon!!

they clearly changed something in the update and now trying to act as if they never had all transactions come through. My wife still hasn’t updated her phone and is still getting all the transactions, I updated and now only get ones I use Apple Pay for. This needs to be fixed . Wish I never updated. I have caught multiple fraud attempts on my cards by getting these notifications.

I just talked to support and was told they removed this feature in ios14 and all I could do was to submit feedback to Apple and hope they bring it back in a future version. For what is the reasoning to remove this is beyond me? But I suspect they want to encourage people to use Apple Pay more that’s why the only notifications you see now are Apple Pay ones.

The up-dates - IOS 14.0 and 14.01 problems caused by Apple are in no way excusable! Obviously updates are released without checking them for problems! The internet doesn't work, the Amex cards show no payment history and much more. Even the update 14.0.1 does not provide a remedy, but promotes additional battery problems. As US-citizen overseas staying I am totally ****** from the above mentioned problems and furthermore from the Apple Service in the Apple Store in Berlin. You do not get an appointment, you are not let in on site and after that has now worked - a week later - you are served disrespectfully by the employees. In the end I got a new iPhone because the update apparently caused the damage. One week later you can pick up the iPhone without an appointment - oh wonder!

The then stated service lasted almost three hours. Unfriendly, no time, the iPhone was not prepared. So charging, updating, I had to do everything myself as a customer - after an hour and I pointed out that the socket probably does not provide electricity! Within six days, the new iPhome 8 ran out of battery power twice at 0%, which did not even happen in the 10 months after it was bought in NYC. To this day I have not received a new appointment, including the information that, as a US citizen, I am professionally dependent on a functioning iPhone. This is of general interest to the employee on the phone at the Apple Store. Now that I've found out about the battery problems, I've saved myself the trip to the Apple Store. This is NON-SERVICE and no help when you it!

i talked to Apple support and was told this feature was removed in iOS 14. It’s not a big or something that needs fixed. I was told all we can do is send a message to feedback about wanting this feature back and hopefully it will get added back. But it looks like it was removed to get people to use Apple Pay more since that’s the only transactions and notifications that come through.

To all members of this cummunity!

Apple, Apple Service (it is a NON-SERVICE) is the problem!

In my previous post I reported about my experiences in Übersse, Germany, Berlin, from the Apple Store. It is not comprehensible what the employees there allow themselves in NON_SERVICE, no appointments, unfriendly and not competent.

I have now solved the problem myself, by reading, by acting, etc.

With the help of anyfix I have now restored the history of the AMEX credit cards (one in US and one in Germany). As before the 14.0 and 14.01 update, everything is not visible.

The 14.0.2 update was also installed here.

My investment was worth it, in contrast to the waste of time and the cost of the taxi ride to the Aplle Store.

I am now independent abroad and have solved the problem myself with AMEX. I hope it will also help you to make the AMEX history visible again. In any case, the notification from Apple employees that this has been taken away by Apple is false. Apparently Aple doesn't need to worry about satisfied customers, instead they spend millions on advertising to make it all nicer.

Not sure what you mean it’s false that Apple removed this feature but that’s true. Call Apple yourself and be transferred to the correct department. Apple store employee have no clue what they are talking about. And yes you can download the Amex app for notifications but the Apple wallet notifications now will only show transactions when using Apple Pay. This has been confirmed, call yourself .
