I have had my new Apple Watch Series 6 for a few days and it is CONSTANTLY locking itself when I am wearing it. I have sports band and it is tight on my wrist. Any tighter and I would be cutting off circulation. I have cleaned the sensors on the back, and still no lock. I have rebooted it, and no luck. I unlock it with my PIN and within a minute or less it's locked itself. Never had this issue with my old watch.

I also have no tattoos and it still locks. Ever since the watch os 7 release
I was told that too which is absurd as you say you loose a lot of functionality which is what I was advised to do by Apple
I am disappointed that Apple are not responding to us
same issue here, I have restarted all my devices, unpaired the watch, no tattoos etc etc etc etc it may work for a while but here it is locked up again. FRUSTRATING
I ended up just turning off my passcode. Thank you for your help. : D
I am still very disappointed and dismayed that Apple have not picked up on this or are looking any resolution to our problem
What happens if you have tattoos on both wrists lol well annoying might have to have a leg watch 😂
mines been a lot better since I turned off the wrist detection, it’s not ideal but it’s better then constant locking !
So disappointed the latest update did not address the issue. I contacted Apple yet again and got the "okay, we will run it up the chain" answer. My guess is they won't do anything about it.

DIDNT WORK, no difference, keeps locking still
just going to have a little tantrum and shed a few tears........

Thanks for that detail. I hope they are working on it. I finally sent mine back in for repair or replacement. We shall see what happens.
