403 Forbidden (sudden change)

I am trying to access wickes.co.uk website that I have used 100s of times but now I get the 403 Forbidden on my mac, I get this error with Firefox, Chrome and Safari.


I can access this site on my iPhone using Wifi through my Mac


I've cleared cache and cookies, restarted....no joy


Help I'm totally baffled

Yup, VPN is the 'issue'. Spent sometime on Sunday in email exchange with their IT team coming to that conclusion.

I've suggested they talk to Cognisant and either allow VPN servers access (can't think why they block in the first place) or at least pop up a page saying why they won't allow access. Instead of just using the default 403 response.

I've emailed the CEO of Wickes (David Wood) pointing out that their off-Shore IT people have blocked us Mac users from their web site. He has responded within an hour (on a Saturday afternoon) and two of his management team now have this on their 'to do list'.

Good customer service from the CEO, lets see how quickly their IT suppliers get their act together (It's Cognizant, so I'm not holding my breath)
