Security update 2020-005 Mojave 10.14.6

Can I go without this update? My iMac (2012 late edition) is getting excruciatingly slow after installing that update. I had to revert back to my previous state from the time machine backup. Pls. advice; I am at fix!!

Is the last security update for all Macs with Mojave? The last security update for Mojave 2021-002 is not available on my Mac. I have a Mac Pro 2012 with a 2T SSD, but the update button comes back that my Mac is up to date with no available updates.

Yes I understand that the "sequence" of the installation matters. But apart from performance issues, the updated Safari version 14 interface is not at all acceptable to me, as I saw that earlier. Any way that was a personal liking. But are you getting any performance improvement in the updated Safari version?

No, but reinstalling Mojave is how it's fixed for now.

I did install Safari 14 after installing the Security Update and all is working fine, so as that article I linked to said, it is the sequence of installation that appears to be the problem.
