How can I get into my settings in my Mac

My settings disapeared from the bottom of the screen; how do I get them back?

You can access System Preferences by going to the Apple menu.

If you want to add that back to the Task Bar, open a Finder window, use the Finder "Go" menu and select Applications; then in the Finder Applications window scroll down to System Preferences and drag it to the Task Bar.
