My AirPods don’t work even though they are connected
The AirPods are connected to my phone but sound is still coming out of the phone and not AirPods. And “connected” keeps flashing up top of phone.

Open Settings ➔ Bluetooth ➔ Locate your Airpods in the list of bluetooth paired devices: Tap on the "i" to the right of the AirPods name and choose Forget Device.
After that is done then re-pair the AirPods with your iPhone.
