We used a URL string for users to auto download out private corporate app. This URL string is now throwing an error on any device with iOS 14. The url string was: itms-apps://apps.apple.com/account/freeProductCodeWizard?code=<redemption code here>. Has anyone else run into this issue and or have an alternate we should be using?
We ran into that as well. But using the protocol itms-apps:// fixed that, it opens directly in the App Store and doesn't require iTunes.

We ran into the same issue. After a lot of trial & error we found the following URL works:
itms-apps://buy.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/freeProductCodeWizard?code=CODEHERE
Yeah that works as long as the users has itunes installed on their device. We looking at a method that doesn't require itunes.
