Lyrics Apple Music iOS 14 not showing

Hey! I was having this same problem but after some searching I managed to fix it. When you click on the song that you want the lyrics for (navigate to the menu where you would pause or skip the song), on the bottom of the screen there is 3 buttons, on the bottom left there is a button with a speech bubble and this symbol: “, inside the bubble. Click that button and the lyrics should show up. This fixed it for me, let me know if it works!

I had the same problem but only with certain albums. I tried everything in this thread, nothing worked. I ended up deleting all of the albums without lyrics and redownloading all of them and the lyrics are back. May not work for all, but if it does great. By the way, I have all of my music backed up in the cloud, this may not be a possibility for anyone who may have to purchase the albums again. Can’t really think of a reason why you would have to do that, but just FYI. Good luck.

This has nothing to do with Dark or Light Mode, nothing to do with Contrast! The lyrics button on the bottom left is Gray (deactivated) for every song. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max, this problem began after I upgraded to 14.6. Apple needs to correct this problem!

when I updated my iPhone to iOS 14 I can’t see lyrics anymore on Apple Music. Just before the update I could see the lyrics on the same songs, but ever since the update it stopped.Is there a solution for this?

Agree. But I'll clarify: I'm on iPadOS 13.7. I have been on this OS version for a long time, and earlier on the same OS version the lyrics of the song were available. Now the lyrics for some songs (but not all) are no longer available. Therefore, I don't think this is a problem of any particular OS version. The problem appeared on the same OS version that did not have this problem before.

Just go to Screen Time and turn off Content and Privacy Restrictions. Your music lyrics should show afterwards

It has nothing to do with Screen Time at all. It's amazing what kind of absurd versions one can find in this thread.

P.S. I'm sick and tired of numerous bugs in iOS/iPadOS. When I was on Android, I could not even imagine that there could be such a nightmarish number of bugs in OS.

I tried all the suggested and nothing worked. Then I took the plunge and just deleted the music and reinstalled it. All the lyrics then started working after that.

as I didn’t have any music downloaded and I subscribe to Apple Music, all was fine and everything synced up via iCloud.

it sounded scary, but it worked out fine and all the lyrics now flowing nicely.

Same for me. It only happens with explicit songs. Clean song lyrics work fine.

I think it has something to do with the older versions of iPhone because my father doesn’t have this problem on his 11, but this is happening on my iPhone 8

I have the iPhone XR and it’s happening to me.
