Lyrics Apple Music iOS 14 not showing

Same for me. It only happens with explicit songs. Clean song lyrics work fine.

Have you tried changing it to dark mode?

Sorry, My replied is 14.3 not 14.2. some of people tested on 14.3 is fixed the issue.

Please wait almost one to two months, when release the 14.3 all problem will fix.

Same but there’s no problem with non explicit songs I’m only facing this issue with the explicit songs.

I’m having the exact same problem it’s extremely frustrating. I’m also not able to search for any explicit songs, to find them I have to actually got to the artists profile. Hopefully they fix this soon.

There are two different issues then because mine has nothing to do with contrast I’ve tried all of that. Doesn’t matter if it’s on dark or light mode. Clean lyrics work fine, explicit ones don’t. It will act like it’s going to pull up the lyrics and then switch back to the album cover. Can someone please change this back to unsolved like other people have said? This way Apple will see it.

@wylhkg Perhaps, but earlier in this thread someone who sounded just as certain as you do right now said "This is fixed in iOs 14.2" and it absolutely is NOT fixed in iOs 14.2. So no offense, but I'll believe it when I personally update to 14.3 and the problem goes away.

This has just happened to me. It is one of the reasons I pay for Apple Music subscription and it is very frustrating to have the lyrics visible one day, and then after the update they have disappeared. Apple, please fix.

I 100% agree with @gramstel. The issue is not solved guys. A workaround is not a solution. As long as the bug is fixed directly in the music app please don’t mark it as solved !!!! Increase contrast or other similar settings might work for YOU but that doesn’t guarantee that it works for everyone. Personally none of these workarounds have worjed for me. I use iPhone XR and iPad Air 4.

This is NOT SOLVED lyrics wont show up to at least half the songs in my iTunes!!!! Still happening after most recent update. It wont even go to the screen with lyrics just stays on album photo. This is not solved at all. Changing the contrast settings does have an effect but even if those setting are changed to normal some songs still wont display lyrics. Not even if you click see Full Lyrics. I even deleted the song a redownloaded them and still wont fix. Try different versions on one song and still no fix. Very Very frustrating

Now apple is spamming me with every reply to this topic, which has gotten completely out of control. No matter how many times I turn off "Following" it resets to being on again and my inbox is full of emails about this crap. Stop alreay.

I’ve got IOS 14 on my phone & iPad.........both under my Apple ID, lyrics display on the iPad but no longer display on my iPhone...........paying a £9.99 monthly subscription for Apple Music which doesn’t work on my apple phone..............

I agree, after I changed to dark mode I was able to see the lyrics when the music is playing. I change back to regular mode and the lyrics were gone. How can this be fix so lyrics show on day mode ????
