Then, let's ensure all of your apps are up to date as well: Update apps or use automatic downloads - This will help us to ensure that your apps are configured correctly to work with iOS 14 optimally.

If the issue continues at that point, let's try to check the notification settings for your apps here: Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Also, let's ensure your Do Not Disturb feature is not enabled under Settings > Do Not Disturb

I too have a problem with notifications not working for phone, text, email and calendar. I've had diagnostics checked while on chat w/Apple. I reset & recovered from backup. Now on iOS 14.0.1 and still have the problem. Husband uses iPhone XPro and is getting all notifications. I have my Home Screen icons all changed (shortcuts) and I have some widgets.

I checked each app & badges are turned on, under notifications the Lock Screen & Notification Center are on as well as badge.

I have tried a few things here that ppl said worked for them. Do you think there's a problem because of all the icon changes? My settings seem to be correct & I checked the time as well. Thx.

We want to ensure all the least intrusive steps are taken before we dig deeper, as issues like this can often be resolved by them; we appreciate you giving those initial steps a try!

We'd like to also have you check and ensure your Date & Time are set to automatically detect under Settings > General > Date & Time. The reason we want to try this is to ensure that your Messages settings for notifications aren't being blocked or routed by any timing issues.

I was on phone with Apple support for almost an hour did everything they told me to and still didn’t fix the problem. I believe the new update screwed everything up!!! They don’t know how to fix it either!!

This is just the WORST! I updated yesterday my Iphone 11 and now nothing works! I cant call nor receive calls. The iphone drops all my calls and cancels all inconming calls... Same happens if i try to do a Whatsapp call, i only can do Video Calls.

I work with this cellphone and everyday i have to call and receive important calls! Its incredible how bad you can fail on a IOS Update.

The worst part is that the only solution somebody has provided me is to delete completely my Iphone and do a Back-up???

Mine doesn’t work either! I’ve tried everything and nothing. I’ve missed important text messages while I’ve been on a call and it’s upsetting me! It only happened after this update. Change it back please.

I’m having issues with notifications from Facebook Messenger and my security system app with the new update. I have reset my phone and checked all of my app settings. This is obviously an update issue and not anything that we as customers have or have not done. Apple needs to fix this.

I am not receiving my text notifications or previews!! All my settings are correct. This too is since the last update. This is impacting my JOB!!!!

If you wish to speak to Apple Support, you need to use the Contact Support link at the top of the page here. Apple is not going to fix anything by you posting here, nor will they notice that you told them Shame.

for those that updated to 14.2.1 or do not have a 12 model, this is for you lol

I have an X on 14.2 and i’ve gotten no message notifications at all, both text and imessage. No vibrate, no banners, no badges, nothing. i tried a million different suggestions, including a hard reset and restore of my device. the only thing that actually has been working perfectly is after i went into Settings > Notifications > Messages > change Banner Style to persistent. everything is working for me now message-wise, including vibrations and badges. no idea why lol but I will take it. Hope this can help for anybody still having the issue!

Hi, recently my phone auto-updated to iOS14.2 and I notice all my notifications stop working and I missed a lot of my messages without noticing it. This effected my work badly. I need to find out how I can fix this soonest possible before I got into more trouble with my job. I'd tried hard reboot few times and it is still not working. I'd also ensure my phone is not on silence or do-not-disturb mode. I'd tried setting some of the important apps to persistent, yet nothing works. Please help!

There’s nothing u can do I tried everything, I’ve also called Apple a few times to fix it and they have no clue how. I ended up purchasing a Apple Watch that’s the only way I know when I receive a text while on the phone. Hopefully they figure this out soon. Last few days I noticed sometimes I get the text tone and others I don’t get anything.
