Since the upgrade to iOS 14 my text notification aren’t working while I am on the phone. Is this a new feature? Can it be changed? Please help

I have latest update. I am not receiving text message alerts when I am on the phone. None of your advice helps. Also how my text message an app that I need to update? It feels like this was canned response with no effort put into to actually address the problem. Please help

I just got a notification for an update today and updated it and now it works. Don’t know if it will last, but it is good to go for now.
Well what the heck, the update didn’t work for me!
I just received update 14.2 and I am happy to say all my issues are fixed!!!!! Yay Apple!

Wow, completely unhelpful. They don’t really care that the new update will turn off a lot of buyers. Text notification is an important feature. Dumb
