Hello! Just recently my MacBook air started running very slow. I have run EtreCheck and found there is a runaway app which was using a very large amount of CPU (262% when I first ran). Also approx 170 gigs of hd space is going to "system".This Etrecheck report I am pasting below was done while in safe mode. Any assistance would be very much appreciated!!

Thanks, I removed it as soon as installed yesterday. I shouldn't backup my mac while it is in the condition, correct? Not sure why you copied that in your response.
It's merely an observation. If you do not back up a Mac, then by definition you don't care about its contents. Not everyone does.
I gotcha. Do you recommend get the premium version of Etre Check to assist in finding what the problem software or runaway app is? Thanks for your help!
