Hi, my iMac has slowed tremendously and has a keyboard issue in that it types in a ‘4’ after every’o’ is typed! Any idea how to solve these?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

usb keyboard not recognised My iMac has suddenly stopped recognising my apple extended usb keyboard. The physical connection seems to be good because I can still connect to the Mac from the USB ports on the keyboard. So far I've tried disk first aid and I've zapped the PRAM. What else might revive it?

Test another keyboard with your iMac.

Test that keyboard with another Mac or PC.
