Since this update, my internet access software is slow and dropping (safari, apple store....), I have now seen many posts mentioning similar issues? i just wanted to add my own concern so that Apple works on this and releases a fix ASAP as its a big problem, safari and other browsers are constantly dropping, mainly when I open a second window, but sometimes just with one window.

Probably but there are many reports of issues, so I just wanted to publish it so that it could be looked into by apple. I actually followed some advice found on some forums but rebooting and also activating and deactivating my wifi and all seems to be back to normal... I appreciate your answer but even if the tool you are promoting can be useful, I prefer to have APPLE staff take care of the issues

Also note that there are millions of mac users running Catalina 10.15.7. If what you are experiencing were a common bug there would have been an outcry.
You’d better try to figure out what is wrong with your setup instead of assuming it’s a bug. It isn’t. Remember that nobody comes here to say “my mac is running fine”, just those who need help.
10.15.7 broke both Safari and Firefox 81.0. Both seem to boot (glacially) but neither can access any web site. This is for a MacBook Pro 16”. Advise?

You are right. However, I can say that my Mac is running perfect with the latest version of Catalina. Now, it's done.
For most people there is no difference in internet access in 10.15.7, so probably it is something in your setup.
To try and figure out what it may be, we need workable information.
