iTunes on Windows drops airplay connection to 4th Gen Apply TV
This has been reported before. Each time the answer is "Network Problem". It is not a network problem, or at least not a general network health issue.
I have a Windows 10 PC (2004) with iTunes (Version 12.10.8.5). When I stream to my 4th Gen Apple TV (A1625) on tvOS 14.0(18J386). When I stream music from iTunes on this Windows PC it drops within 4 minutes. Shows a "minus" sign by the Apple TV device. I have tried wired ethernet or wireless, same issue.
When I stream music to my older Apple TV 3rd Gen on the very same computer and same network it works without stop. All day.
If I use AirPlay from m iPhone, my wife's iPhone, either of our iPads, the 4th Gen Apple TV will stream without problem. All day.
I have tried wifi and wired. Updated everything. Nothing will allow my Windows 10 PC to stream from iTunes to my 4th Gen AppleTV. Does anyone have any helpful ideas aside from "reboot", "update", or "it's your network". Thanks for any ideas.
