macOS process accountsd

The macOS process Accountsd is consuming such an amount of CPU that my MacBook Pro 13-inch 2019 is becoming useless. The problem appeared after updating to version 10.15.7 of macOS Catalina.

Googling about this bug reveals that many users are affected and disturbed by it in their professional activity. None of the proposed ad hoc solutions are working for me. This is the first time I run into a very serious instability problem with macOs in 15 years of usage, an official fix to this problem is needed as soon as possible.
