Uploading media files to iCloud takes forever.

Hi guys

Is there any tweak to make the upload to iCloud faster? I've my media on an Expand device(usb stick).

Limits of file size that can be uploaded to iCloud with a 2TB storage plan. I would like to upload a 156MB mp4 file to iCloud; I get a "..... your file must be smaller than 100MB." Scouring the web I see conflicting info ranging from 50MB to 200MB file sizes that can be uploaded to iCloud. What is the actual maximum file size that can be uploaded and if there is a specific procedure for uploading large files? BTW - as a new user, is there a notification to the email or phone on file with Apple when there is a response to the posts?

How to speedup the uploading to iCloud ? I have copied all (finally) photos I have into the iCloud and it is going super slow. I though it is stuck and read some articles here about that, but later found out - no, it is uploading... Now, as you may see, I have 8848 objects to go: this morning I had 8855. so, it is working somehow, but mainly there are simple photos and short videos. I read the advice about "just wait" but, 7 per day sounds like I will wait it forever. any solutions or advices about that? I thought - logout and login in iCloud but decided to ask firstly.

I’m not sure how ISP comes to this game but I have a 100 Mps connection (up and download ).

I figured it goes much faster if I copy the files to my mac /desktop .

My desktop is getting upload to the cloud.

No as it's dependent on your WiFi, ISP, and volume of data.
