iPad "Returned to Sender"

I ordered my iPad Pro a month ago, and it is supposed to get delivered to me tomorrow. However, I got a notification from UPS that "A dangerous goods irregularity occurred with this package. We'll contact the sender with additional information. / The package will be returned to the sender."

What happens now? Will Apple correct the issue and send me my iPad ASAP? Or do I have to wait even longer? Do I just have to wait, without trying to contact Apple support?

Nobody here knows.

All sorts of possibilities exist, including a paperwork snarl.

But we’re other users, not folks that work for Apple or UPS.

You'll need to chat with Apple about updates.
