AirPods keep disconnecting from PC

My airpods connected to my laptop with no issue, and for a while they were working fine with it, but now whenever I'm watching a video/movie or listening to music on my laptop, they'll just randomly cut off. When it first started it didn't happen frequently, but as time has gone on its gotten worse. They disconnect every 30 seconds or so, but the thing is, when I go into my Bluetooth settings it doesn't say "disconnected" it still says "connected voice, music" but no sound comes through the earbuds until I manually disconnect and reconnect them. Then after getting them to work again they stop again after another few seconds. 


I've tried just about any solutions I could find online: I've tried removing the device and reconnecting it as a whole, I've tried restarting my computer, I've troubleshooted my bluetooth, etc. but none of them worked. 


I don't have this issue with connecting my airpods to my phone, just my laptop, so the issue is specifically with my apple airpods to my windows computer.


if anyone knows of a way to fix this it would be greatly appreciated. Its getting extremely frustraiting

We understand that your AirPods are connected to your Windows computer and have begun disconnecting when in use. You have tried some good troubleshooting already removing the AirPods and reconnecting them, restarting the computer, troubleshooting Bluetooth, without success. The AirPods work fine with your iPhone.  


The one thing that we have noticed that you haven't tried in your troubleshooting is resetting the AirPods and then pairing them with your computer again. Here is the article to reset the AirPods:
