I bought my MacBook Air Retina 2020 (8GB memory, 189GB free storage out of 250) exactly a week ago. It was working fine till last night the video on Netflix froze for a few seconds and became out of sync with the audio. Since then all videos on Netflix, YouTube, and HBO have been lagging by about 3-5 seconds across Chrome and Safari using different sources of internet connection. Restarting the computer doesn't help either. Anyone else experience this? How can I fix it?

Thanks for the post, and congratulations on the new Mac! We understand that video appears to be out of sync, and it happens with multiple browsers and websites and on more than one network. Is that all correct?
Are you using an external display or AirPlay? If so, try disconnecting and test again.
If that doesn't help, test this in a newly-created administrator account to determine if the issue is system-wide or if there is a user account-specific cause. Here's how to Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac. Then, test it out and let us know what you find!
