Silenced call - iphone not ringing

Device : iPhone 7plus with iOS 14.0

Setting : DoNotDisturb (DND) OFF, Silent mode OFF

Issue : Phone is not ringing when someone calls. Later it is displayed as missed call. ( phone rings when receiving call from people in favorite list and contact list. I think, phone is not ringing when someone who is not in my contact list calls.)

Impact : I miss many important calls (eg on-line delivery)

I searched apple forum, and saw post regarding confusion around DND Silence mode (anyway my DND is OFF)

If it is only calls from people not in your Contacts that are not ringing, check Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers: Detect and block spam phone calls - Apple Support
