I forgot my password for a locked Note and that Note is super important to me. I just want to see if there is anything I can do to get the password back! I used to be able to just sign in with my thumb ID but it suddenly stopped letting me use that and I have no idea why.

No, there isn’t. You can set a new password, but that will not unlock the notes with the forgotten password. You can read more here.

So it is basically a lost note then.
Unfortunately, it is. You’re best hope at this point is that the thumbprint will work again for you again. If it does, immediately copy the text and then paste it into a new note.
