this disk is locked

I just bought a 2nd hand iMac. When I was trying to install Sierra it says this disk is locked. I tried to erase the disk and the erase button is greyed out. I tried to partition the disk and and + button is greyed out. Please advice.

You cannot install i to that, in Disk Utility's View Menu, choose show all devices, what shows up there?


You may need an external drive to install to.
