Bluefire Reader does not appear in itunes

Hi,

I understand that itunes now does not have their Apps appearing in itunes. I find that frustrating but I understand Apple is migrating to all being done on device.

However, now I can't even add Books from my PC to my Ipad Bluefire Reader. It does not appear as one of the File Sharing Apps. I see Garage Band, Pages, Playerextreme etc but no Bluefire.

On a related matter, I now cannot transfer old Apps that are no longer in itunes store, to my new Ipad. I have an old App called irollmusic which has gone bust. I cannot transfer onto my new ipad as I understand it will only work for old itunes versions. Why does Apple make life so difficult & restrictive?

Would appreciate if anyone can help.

The iTunes File Sharing mechanism still exists, though developers are encouraged to switch to using Files for transfer. See Use iTunes to share files between your computer and your iOS or iPadOS device - Apple Support.
