multiple video outputs not working

I have an iMac (early 2012) and it is currently running with two external video screens attached. Both are plugged into the Thunderbolt ports. One is a projector and the other is a Samsung TV. These have worked fine for several years. i needed to add a Vizio tv and connected it using USB => HDMI (over cat6). By itself, the new tv works fine. If I plug in both TVs the Sumsung stops working and displays an error "mode not supported". But both tvs work fine with the projector. It's just the combination of the two tvs. Any suggestions, I'm stumped.

Hi hillcrest112,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're getting some interference when using multiple displays and adding an HDMI connected display, correct? If so, we know it can be frustrating trying to make them all work properly, and we'd love to help. Below we're providing some links to troubleshoot the issue. We're also including information on the adapters needed for multiple displays, as well as a link to a firmware update that may be needed as you mentioned you're iMac is a 2012. Please check those out and let us know if the issue remains unresolved. We're happy to continue helping!
