Phone continuously says I need to enter my Apple ID Password

I have an iPhone 8+. It's almost 3 years old. A week or so ago in the middle of the night I got a pop up saying my Apple ID was locked and I need to verify my identity to unlock my account. I followed the steps to verify myself and then promptly changed my password.

Since then my phone constantly tells me "Some account services will not work unless you enter your Apple ID password.". I enter the password, a few hours go by and I get the same notification. Enter password, good for a couple hours, notification reappears.

ALL of my apps are up to date. I just updated to iOS 14.0.1. Same thing keeps happening. I have logged out and back into my Apple ID. I have turned iMessage and FaceTime off and back on. I don't use facial recognition.

So far I haven't even been able to tell which account services are disabled until I enter the password, but that little red icon glaring at me from the Settings icon on the home screen is annyoing the bejeepers out of me.

I cannot find an answer on Google that has helped me. Short of pitching this dang phone into a lake, how in the world do I get this insane redundancy to stop???????

I suspect it is someone who can mirror your screen but cannot read your keystrokes or onscreen hidden password.

My ex wife’s “ friend” put my unconscious finger on my iPhone after I nearly died from being given a peanut candy bar very late in the night before colon surgery. Fortunately I remembered the fast but because I had told my ex wife I had $500000 life insurance I suspect I became a target. All my passwords were removed from iCloud without my knowledge and apparently sold or given away on the dark web with an unauthorised iPad possibly belonging to the password thief still logged into my iCloud. The owner of the iPad was identified when online at a location near the suspects home. Since then I have been attacked frequently as I suspect selling or distributing my passwords can make the culprit invisible in a flock of hackers. The laws have changed and hackers can be back tracked via new legislation. Her account in the Maldives for illegal funds inherited are possibly visible to police by now.

Keep changing passwords, be mindful of very realistic phishing requests and do let the suspect know the tax office is now aware of their income from selling passwords stolen.
