Apple Music showing a name

Apple Music playlists are showing my name on someone else’s phone. Any idea why? Added a screenshot for example

Hi, cwgoodrich.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We’re glad you decided to reach out about your name appearing on playlists on someone else’s Apple Music library.

This generally happens when you create a playlist and it gets shared on your Apple Music profile. The playlist is made available to anyone that is following you. They can add it to their Apple Music library, and when you make edits on your side they’ll automatically update for your friends.

Note that the option to share a playlist is automatically toggled on when you create a new playlist. You’ll need to edit the playlist and toggle this feature off to not share it on your profile, and you’ll want to make sure that you toggle it off if you decide to delete the playlist. You won’t be able to disable the sharing feature, or delete the playlist from Apple Music or your profile, after you’ve deleted the playlist from your library.

All our best.
