Face id not working

my iphone xs face id is not working it shows move a phone higher/lower, how much i move it doesn’t work

Face ID set up not working I just updated my phone to iOS 16 and my Face ID was a little messy so I rest my Face ID but when I do it it will tell me move iphone lower move phone higher get closer move farther i have been doing it for 3 hours now I’m determined but it’s just not gonna work
