How to close an app on iphone 11
I read that I should not close or force close phone app by just swiping up . May I know then what’s the right way of doing that?

You can move from an app to the home screen by swiping up from the bottom edge.
You can move to the App Switcher by swiping up from the bottom edge and pausing in the center of the screen.
You can quit (force close) using the instructions in How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support and note the following from those instructions:
When your recently used apps appear, the apps aren’t open, but they're in standby mode to help you navigate and multitask. You should force an app to close only if it’s unresponsive.
