I take a lot of screen captures (photos not video) and email them. Never had an issue before. However, since IOS14 I'm getting a lot of lag and or freezing. I've tried everything I know of to rectify but continues to happen.

Unfortunately no... tap back option is off on my iPhone
my Back tap feature is off and always has been... still have the screenshot issue.... unfortunately the reality is they have no idea what caused the issue hence no fix yet
Same issue here after installing iOS 14. I’m on 14.4 now. Clearly a bug. Posting here only bc they need to hear it from as many ppl as possible to believe it’s an issue and assign it for resolution.

Been on the phone to apple for weeks. Possibly sorted it at last !! Go to GENERAL - VPN. Delete them all - even if VPN is turned off. So far so good for me !

I mentioned I originated the post because it is 4 months old and I do not have any vpn. Are you saying someone at Apple actually told you "we are aware of this issue and to fix it delete your VPN"?
As I said. Speak to Apple.
