Use Macbook pro as secondary display.

I have a 2010 Mac pro / 10.13.6. I want to see if I can use my 2015 MBP / 10.13.6 as a second display.

I need something for color grading in final cut pro. I connected the MBP with a thunderbolt cable to the MP but its not detected. Could it be the cable ? Im using an OWC Premium Thunderbolt 2 Cable.

MBP as a second display is not supported.

At one time the iMac had the ability to be a second monitor—but that is no more

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) and later iMac models can’t be used as Target Display Mode displays.
