Can I use usb a to lightning cable to sync iPhone 11 Pro?

I have a mid 2012 15” Mac book pro and I want to back up and restore an iPhone 11 Pro using a cable. Can I use a lightning to usb a cable that came with my iPhone X? My Mac book pro does not have usb c so I can’t use the usb c to lightning cable that comes with my iPhone 11 Pro.

usb-c to lightening cable sync Hi I'm using the USB-c to lightening cable that came with my iphone 12 max pro and it will charge fine but how do I get itune's to sync/backup using it? When I load itunes the phone doesn't show (like it would via USB) and also when I connect it to my laptop, it doesn't show as connected. Anything I should try?

Bak Up iPhone to Win PC USB to Lightening Backing Up iPhone 13 to Win 11 PC. Instructions state: Connect iPhone to PC with USB cable. But iPhone takes a Lightening male plug while PC takes a Male USB plug. What to do? I prefer not to bak it up to the cloud. TIA.
