Using Mail Drop for larger attachments

How do I know the mail has been sent? It’s no longer anywhere in my mail. Not as a sent mail or outbox.

Hi there, Rileytosin! Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand your question and we’re happy to explain how Mail Drop works with iCloud. 


Mail Drop lets you send large files through iCloud Mail. After you send a message with a file attached, your recipient is provided with a link that they can use to download the attachment from iCloud. You can download attachments from Mail Drop for 30 days after they’re sent. As long as your message is sent successfully, you should see your messages in the Sent folder of your iCloud Mail.
