iPhone charging

Since yesterday I noticed my iPhone SE 2020 which I recently bought 2 days ago stops charging at 80% when I charge it with a fast charging power bank. I charged it 2 times with my powerbank and both times it stopped at 80%. Then to fully charge it I have to unplug and plug the cord back to make it start charging again. Why is it happening and what can I do to stop it as I visited service centre today for some other issue but asked about the battery lifespan and they informed that if you charge your batter from 10% to 100% or from 80% to 100% percent it is counted as one cycle. So in that case to fully charge my phone iam wasting 2 cycles. How can I change it and why is it happening. Please help.

When you fast charge it stops at 80% for the phone to cool off internally; it then starts a while later to complete the charge at a slower charge rate to avoid overcharging. See this Apple support article—>If your iPhone or iPod touch won't charge – Apple Support, specifically the section “If your device stopped charging at 80%"

Neeraj ~ This is just a useful tip for future questions: Apple has a Knowledge Base where you can enter key words (such as "80%") and then filter the result to show Apple's own Support Articles for iPhone. ...Doing so results in the following Article amongst the list of hits:

About Optimized Battery Charging on your iPhone

"With iOS 13 and later, Optimized Battery Charging is designed to reduce the wear on your battery and improve its lifespan by reducing the time your iPhone spends fully charged. When the feature is enabled, your iPhone will delay charging past 80% in certain situations."
