Software update 14.1
Updated software on my XR and now it will not stay connected to the Bluetooth on my vehicle through cable. It will only connect through Bluetooth if I don’t connect cable. Anybody experience this?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're unable to stay connected to your car stereo when using the USB cable. This would be different that using Bluetooth to connect. Are you getting any error messages when connected using USB playback? Are you using Carplay? Have you tried using another cable? Please take a look at the following link.
