How do i stop alarm going off on watch

Since the IOS14 update my sleep/wakeup alarm either goes off on my iPhone or on my iwatch.

I don’t want to be woken by the watch so is there a way of turning off or unsyncing the alarms from iPhone to watch?

I have turned off ‘push alerts from iPhone’ but it is still happening.

Thanks

It’s really not good enough, Apple. I too want to track my sleep but don’t want a pesky alarm on my wrist! The amount of times I have over slept as I turned my alarm off on my wrist. It’s a joke.

Add an option to turn the alarm off on the watch whilst allowing sleep tracking. It’s really not rocket science

Someone above explained how to do that, but I will explain in a direct reply.

If you don’t want the watch to play or be able to disable alarms;

1) go into the Apple Watch app.

2) go into Notifications.

3) go into Clock.

4) turn off “Push Alerts from iPhone”.

if you want alarms solely on the watch, set it on the watch.

If you want to return it to both watch and phone, do as above, and turn *on* “Push Alerts from iPhone”.

The only way seems to be to turn off slew mode on the watch. Like all the other responders here, I want to choose where my wake up alarm comes from. I want to track my sleep and other health data using my watch but I don’t want the feeble wake up alarm on my watch. It’s not much to ask is it? Please fix this Apple, it’s really really annoying.

i want to wear my watch for sleep tracking and shouldn’t have to turn i this feature off to manage which device an alarm rings from. While there should be an option to simply decide “ should alarms sound on your watch, phone or both”, in the mean time I found setting alarms OUTSIDE of the sleep/bedtime alarm option results in the alarm ringing from my phone and NOT my watch.

Apple... don’t make me regret my move from Samsung and just fix this silly bug in you OS.

Hi there Catstone6,

We see you're having some trouble with your alarms, and we'd like to look into this further.

Are your watchOS and iOS versions both updated fully? Do you have a wakeup alarm set for Bedtime? Use Bedtime to track your sleep on your iPhone

Lastly, do you notice this happening after restarting both devices?

Let us know what you find, and we'll go from there.

All the best.

And, btw Apple folks, simply shutting off sleep tracking on the phone does not shut off alarm sharing between the watch and phone.

literally the only way to do that is take off your watch and put it on the charger.

and this whimpy alarm is the worst since the iPhone was introduced.

why can’t we ever get what we want?

I see a new Fitbit in my future instead of a new iwatch

Gonna try thus, thank you.

i switched to iPhone from android a year ago and this alarm situation has been the absolute worst experience. I've missed patient appointments because of this just because my watch came off the charger at night or the power went out. This option should be clear and present right in the alarm app, not buried. Clearly, many users have an issue with this.
