Can't block spam numbers

Hi, I have a spam problem that I can't solve by adding spam numbers to the blacklist. When I try to add a number to the blacklist (by clicking the number and then the info icon), it shows me that the number was successfully added to the blacklist, but when I close the info panel (with the ready button), the number gets unblocked, what can be discovered by entering the info panel once again. How can I block them? I had found nothing on Google, seems like this blocking function works properly on every device, except mine.

Thanks for help.

One reason is that spammers don’t use the same number more than once. So blocking a specific number is a useless action. See if your carrier has a blocking app that you can use to report numbers (for example, AT&T Call Protect) for blocking at the network. Or get a blocking app such as nomorobo that will send numbers that its database has identified as spam to voicemail.

If your contact list is relatively complete go to Settings/Phone and turn on Silence Unknown Callers, which sends all calls from numbers not in your contacts to voicemail.
