i got my 12 pro yesterday, beautiful machine, but i started to notice some lack of color intensity, i've using an Iphone X for 3 years know, so something was off. I put the two side by side, displaying the same foto, exactly same settings, and it's sad, something is wrong with the 12 pro, the colors are sad and dead and "yellowish".
Any ideas ?

Hello Antonio! I found a solution that works for me and would work for you as well! My new iPhone 12 also had the yellow tint to it so I exchanged it at my local apple store and although the new one was better, it still had the tint to it. My solution is to actually change the color tint of the display by going into your settings < accessibility < display & text size < color filters < turn on and select color tint. You can scroll down and adjust the intensity and the hue. I have my intensity slider all the way to the left and my hue is about 80% to the right which adjust the tint to a more natural color. It has satisfied me and I hope it works well for you!
I don’t know why an apple moderator is deleting me comments about how @mizz-305 is either a bot or someone paid by apple to gaslight us into thinking there is no problem. I am a content creator and it’s IMPOSSIBLE to use Lightroom, photoshop etc on my 12 pro max because the final product is horrible when looked at on a properly calibrated screen like my iPhone X or MacBook Pro 2018. Human Skin tones are the most affected by this because white, yellow , brown , black are all on the yellow color spectrum. The fact that my comments are getting deleted tells me apple is aware of the problem but do not have the balls to admit it. SHAME ON YOU APPLE , SHAME ON YOU! Keep deleting my and our truth but I’ll keep posting!

just so everyone knows, and you might already, I did compared after getting my 2nd iPhone 12 Pro with 11 and the screen on the latter one is SO NICE AND WAY BETTER, super good colors, no warmness, just a crisp nice screen on the 11
like how we are all normally used to!
agreed! I checked an iPhone 11 Promax and an 11 against my iPhone 12 Pro and you can instantly notice the warm screen
i am still hoping a software update will fix it somehow, i am just concerned though if I am waiting in vain.
what if the yellow screen is something that a software update won’t fix?
Set777 thank you! so that means that everyone that has a "broken" iPhone screen would have to replace it once they will be able to fix the new iPhone screens?
I am asking since if I will wait 2 more weeks that will be the grace time Apple offers in returning the iPhone 12 Pro in my case.
Wondering if this will be something that they will replace later on. Knowing that all these phones had an issue before!
This is the 3rd iPhone12pro that I received and this also has a yellow/green tinted low contrast display. I think everyone that has a sample of this type should return it to Apple to get a new. Only this way we can make the company aware that this is something completely unacceptable.
This is clearly an issue that probably all the new iPhone 12 series have, maybe some less noticeable!
As I said so many times, maybe a software update could fix it, however this doesn’t seem like it has been addressed with this week’s update.
The iPhone 12 Pro is such a nice and fast machine, so sad to see this yellow tone. Also the camera does take warmer pictures and street lights sometimes come off so yellow!
I am waiting 2 more weeks until I have to return it and might consider an 11.
Such a shame, since I like the design of the phone and how it performes! But the yellow tone really drives me crazy!
I have now returned my third iPhone 12Pro and I will keep returning them as long as the screen is not good. I urge everyone else to do the same. Apple needs to acknowledge this problem and do something about it.
Unfortunately I’m beginning to come to the conclusion that apple does not have the cojones to admit it’s an issue because it will lead to mass recalls and that’s bad for business. The 12s screen is a failure and they know it
I think I will return mine soon and get an 11. If this issue might get fixed, that might take a while since there are no signs yet that this is being addressed!
And as said before having a $1,000 iPhone 12 Pro with warm screen is clearly a big waste of money! I put it against iPhone 11 and the difference between screens is dramatic!
[Istanbul, Turkey] I bought an iPhone 12 128GB White, and its display was a very warm yellow. Then I tried every setting, and searched the web, and saw that a lot of people have the same problem. Then I returned it, and the 2nd unit came today, and yes, it is the same yellow display. Then I decided to return it for a refund; I cannot try over and over again for a pleasant display. By the way, yellow tinted display is not the only problem for me: Both devices have a low contrast and low brightness, especially when I compared them to my 8 Plus. I'll wait for a few months to buy it again. Good luck everyone.

One thing that makes me happy is that we are all sharing this issue within this community.
I am now less worried that it's not just a few phones, but rather a common malfunction of these series 12 displays.
I have until the beginning of January to return my iPhone 12 Pro, and I will plan and do so, and buy an 11.
I compared it with the 11 series, and the screen is JUST GREAT AS HOW it should be!
I am sure there will be a fix for this 12 series, however, I think that this is not something that will be done quickly!
I am glad more people are responding about this issue because when I took my phone into 2 different Apple stores they acted as if I was the one with the problem & that they'd not heard of anyone else having this issue. My phone has been exchanged twice & still has the issue. Now when I open a message/response to something I sent to someone with a large screenshot, it won't even allow me to see the message. I have to hit respond then I can look at the message, when I try & view certain web pages no mater what settings I have my page set on it reverts to reader only forcing me to go back in & change the settings.
Well, like all of you my iPhone 12 Pro is yellowish and I noticed it right out of the gate. I'm upgrading from a 7 Plus and the 7 Plus side by side blows the 12 out of the water for the display. I am so **** disappointed. It's very frustrating reading through here and no one getting anywhere with Apple on some kind of fix. Is this issue on the 12 Pro Max as well as the 12 pro? I'll make them give me the Max at the Pro price if there is no issue with the Max. anyone know if the Max is screwed up? How in the **** does something so obvious as this yellowish warm hue get by all the **** people at Apple quality control?????????????
I actually wanted to buy the 11 Pro but Verizon didn't have any specials on them at all and now I regret it but saving almost $600 on a 12 was too good to pass up. Too bad they didn't tell me my display and camera were going to be yellowish.
Pro Max is the same. I returned 5 pro max because the yellow screen. In fact, all 12s I have seen have that screen white point. The exception is getting a cold one this year, apparently. I might be wrong however, but is my experience
